Line Sakana Ski 2026

Float through soft snow and lock into confident arcs on firm laps, thanks to the swallowtail shape working with camber and a wide shovel to balance lift and edge hold. The Line Sakana Ski keeps turns intuitive with a 5CUT™ multi-radius sidecut and early rise that pulls contact points closer for quicker engagement. The swallowtail also drops the tail in powder to lift the tips, helping maintain a neutral stance without sacrificing control.

Developed with input from Eric Pollard, the Line Sakana Ski blends a Paulownia Maple wood core with sidewall construction for vibration control and strong energy transfer. Carbon Stringers paired with Flax Taping add stiffness without harsh feedback, while a sintered base supports consistent glide. The swallowtail tail is reinforced with titanal, preserving durability while reducing tail weight and maintaining a long effective edge.

Key Features

  • 5CUT™ Multi-Radius Sidecut: Five blended sidecut radiuses create a wide range of turn shapes with an intuitive feel.
  • Swallowtail Design: Tail knockout de-couples the farthest reaches of the effective edge, drops the tail in soft snow to lift the tips for flotation, reduces weight, and maintains a long effective edge; reinforced with titanal for durability.
  • Directional Flex Pattern: Softer tip for easy turn initiation and float, with a stiffer tail for power, stability, and high-speed control.
  • Early Rise Tip and Tail: Tip and tail lift move contact points closer to center for increased lift in deep snow and quicker engagement on hardpack.
  • Sidewall Construction: Ultra-high density polyethylene vertical walls absorb vibration and deliver strong energy transmission.
  • Paulownia Maple Wood Core: Lightweight paulownia paired with maple balances strength and weight for a responsive feel.
  • Carbon Stringers with Flax Taping: Added stiffness with reduced pingy, deflective carbon feel.
  • Sintered Base: Supports consistent glide and durability.
