Maxxis Minion DHF 27.5x2.50WT 3C MaxxTerra EXO+ TR Tire

The Maxxis Minion DHF Tire is engineered to excel across diverse mountain biking conditions, featuring a tread pattern that balances rolling speed with exceptional braking and cornering traction. The 3C MaxxTerra compound offers a blend of superior traction and durability, making it ideal for both aggressive riding and extended trail sessions. With EXO+ protection, combining SilkShield and EXO materials, this tire enhances puncture and sidewall durability significantly, while its tubeless-ready design allows for lower air pressures and reduced rolling resistance, ensuring a smoother and more reliable ride.

  • 3C MAXXTERRA: An intermediate compound configuration used in select mountain tires. 3C MaxxTerra is softer and offers more traction than 3C MaxxSpeed, yet provides better treadwear and less rolling resistance than MaxxGrip.
  • EXO+: Maxxis' EXO+ construction combines two of our best puncture protection materials: SilkShield and EXO. The SilkShield layer runs from bead-to-bead with a layer of EXO along the sidewalls. Combined, these two materials create EXO+ which improves tread puncture protection by 27%; sidewall durability by 51%; and resistance to pinch flats by 28%.
  • TUBELESS READY: Tubeless ready tires provide the rider with many benefits: the ability to run lower air pressures, which improves traction; lower rolling resistance when compared to a tube-type tire; and less chance of flatting because there is no tube. Tubeless ready tires are denoted by the letters ā€œTRā€ on the sidewall.
Tubeless ready tires must be mounted to tubeless compatible rims and require the use of a liquid sealant to maintain pressure. Liquid sealants have the added benefit of sealing small punctures. Be sure to check your sealant regularly and refresh as needed as it will dry out over time.
Liquid sealants should only be used in the following types of tires: tubeless road, tubular, and tubeless ready. The use of liquid sealants in any other Maxxis tire will void the warranty.
